Our aim is to work with our customers to further develop their IT organisation and to identify and implement the ideal IT solutions. Our focus is always on the purpose of the company and its employees.

Management of operational and information technology - What does that mean?

Operational technology (OT) refers to the use of hardware and software to control industrial equipment (including critical infrastructure). OT includes specialised systems that are used, for example, in the energy sector, manufacturing, medicine, construction technology and other industries.

OT systems are mainly used in the physical world, while IT systems are primarily used to solve business problems. Many aspects of OT and IT overlap, as OT systems are usually connected to networks and generate and use ever larger amounts of data.

The IT department is responsible for the operation of a company's IT infrastructure and for protecting sensitive applications and confidential data from unauthorised access.

The aim of MOIT is to establish efficient interaction between OT and IT and thus ensure that the network operator is informed about the status of its infrastructure at all times and can control it.
